Ministries

Children's Church
Each Sunday morning, Hudson Valley Fellowship offers Sunday School for ages 6 to 11 during our 10:30am service.
Most children make the decision about their personal faith in God during the childhood years. We provide activities that teach the Bible and help grow a child's relationship with God. Our teachers are trained and ready to help children to learn about Jesus and His plan for their lives.

Nursery
The Nursery is a service provided to parents of infants and toddlers to enable parent participation in the worship service without distraction. This is your opportunity to take a break and relax! Your infant or toddler will be well-cared for in our clean, safe, and nurturing environment filled with age-appropriate music, toys, and equipment.

Teens Ministry
The Hudson Valley Fellowship Teen ministry consists of teens who love Jesus and who love having fun! Come on out and join the adventure with your fellow peers who are all on the journey to discovering God's amazing love for us. We have our special Sunday School class during the adult service. We also have fun activities and events throughout the year.

Missions
At Hudson Valley Fellowship we not only have a burden for our community – but also for the world. For the gospel of Jesus Christ is truly the only hope for the nations. So we participate in missions through prayer, financial support and local mission proects..

Spiritual Development
Hudson Valley Fellowship has a number of Christian education programs designed to provide opportunities for Spiritual development. A few examples of our programs are described below:

Class 101
This basic introduction to our church family is designed to teach attendees about our church and our beliefs. You’ll learn about Jesus Christ, salvation, the five purposes of a believer and much more. You’ll also hear about the history of our church and the future plans of Hudson Valley Fellowship.

Leadership Seminars
Leadership seminars are held twice a year and they are half day conferences which provide opportunities for members of Hudson Valley Fellowship to learn about key biblical topics such as Leadership, Fellowship, Grace and Prayer.

Small Groups
We have a number of small groups and bible studies available that help you develop spiritually and stay connected with other church members.

AV Media

Hudson Valley Information Technology Systems (ITS) helps to expand the building efforts of Hudson valley Fellowship Church through creative implementation of Information Technology strategies and solutions.  ITS manages sound systems, web development and email support. We need volunteers to help set up and breakdown sound systems, test microphones and upload power point applications.

Outreach

Hudson Valley Fellowship members are called to serve neighbors and strangers alike, whether or not they share our belief system. We serve by using our gifts and resources to help others in needs, especially the less fortunate. The ministry of service is predicated on justice for the least of the least in God’s world. The church is the presence of Christ in a broken and hurting world. So we participate in missions through prayer, financial support and short term mission trips.

Congressional Care

Serving the needs of those within our church is essential.  As Jesus came to serve, so are we called to serve one another.  Congregational care ministry focuses on reaching out to fellow members that may be hospitalized or homebound.  This ministry includes making visits as well as preparing hot meals for members of our congregation who are in need.

Visitation Ministry

Visitation teams will be established consisting of men and women.  Teams will be broken down by callers and visitors. A weekly list will be provided by the Church Administrator to the Visitation Team Leader or assisting Pastor.  The leader will establish a schedule for callers and visitors, teams will be rotated bi-weekly or as deemed necessary.  Flexibility will be a necessity as visitation needs arise.

Web Ministry

The Web Ministry is a place where you can use your technological skills and creativity to heighten Hudson Valley Fellowship's connection with the world.  Here, you can maintain our homepage, keeping it updated with the latest sermons, pictures, links and resources shared at our church. We also have a Facebook page that you can keep on the cutting edge with new gadgets, apps and status updates.  There is a lot of room for growth and development in our ministry for Youtube, Twitter and more.  Most importantly, there is a lot of room for you!

Ushers/Greeters

How exciting to be part of such a vital ministry!!!  A ministry where we are the first people our guests come in contact with.  It is the perfect opportunity to show the love of Jesus and make each person feel welcome and relaxed.  We can do this with a warm smile, gentle handshake and a few kind words, welcoming and ushering them into God’s house.  Our goal is to have a team of three ushers per week and have enough ushers so each person will serve once a month.   Ushers/greeters need to arrive 30 minutes before service begins.

Welcome/Information table

Greet all people with a smile!  Assist with questions regarding the church, ministries and signup sheets. Provide people with brochures, tithing envelopes, pens, and anything else available on any given Sunday.
