Core Beliefs

• We believe that the Bible is the Inspired Word of God, and the basis of our beliefs.
(2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20-21)

• We believe that Jesus Christ was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, crucified, buried, resurrected and will return. (Luke 1:26-35; John 1:14, Philippians2:5-11,1Thessalonians 4:13-18)

• We believe we are saved by grace, through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ who died on the cross of Calvary so that we would obtain forgiveness of sins. (Romans 6:23; Ephesians 2:2-9)

• We believe we are guided and empowered by the Holy Spirit through the many gifts given to us, for the task of building up the church. (Acts 1:8; 1Corinthians 2:12; 1 Corinthians 12)

• We believe in Baptism by water immersion and the Lord’s Supper (communion). (Matthew 28:19; 1 Corinthians 11:23-26)

• We believe core to the church is: worship, fellowship, evangelism, discipleship and ministry (Acts 2:41-47)
